The holiday season in the beautiful Inland Northwest is a wonderful time of year! Freshly fallen snow, hot cocoa by the fireplace, sledding, skiing at any of the mountains nearby, delicious meals & goodies, and spending time with loved ones. There is no doubt that this year feels a bit different though. There is no doubt that small local businesses are struggling this year. I’m committed to shopping small and local as much as possible this holiday season. Time to pause on the Amazon Prime hot button and support small businesses! With the help of dietetic intern, Katelynn Houger from Washington State University, we have compiled a list of exceptional local shops to make one thing a little less stressful – gift shopping!
